The Barn

Ages 18 months to 40 months

As our children grow so do their needs for exploring. With careful transition from our Baby Room, children will be excited to move through to the large barn, where they will be able to mix with older peers but their care is not compromised. All children will get to experience a wider variety of activities and experiences designed for their age group.

Experiencing planned topical activities the children will also be able to have their input to their day. Topical activities are based around the six areas of learning set out in the Early Years Foundation stage and will allow your children to have fun, experiment and explore learning opportunities as they play throughout the day.

With a grassed garden to the front and a small court yard garden to the rear, the children can experience free flow throughout the day and all weathers.

Nap times are still important in the barn and the children are offered a camp bed, in a designated, newly carpeted area of the barn.

With the support of their key carer the children are offered a range of planned activities based around the six areas of learning set out in the EYFS, tailored to meet their individual needs.
