Experienced Practitioner Wanted!
We are seeking to appoint a full-time Key Person to join our friendly team. You will be responsible for the care, learning and development for a small group of children and work in partnership with parents to ensure each child reaches their full potential.
The position is for 40 hours per week with flexible shift patterns working across a four- or five-day week. Our staff is our biggest asset, so we will support your continuous professional development with a full induction programme; regular supervisory meetings; internal / external / online training courses; the opportunity to add further responsibilities to your role and, the opportunity to move between rooms so you can broaden your childcare experience, knowledge and skills. A uniform will be provided. A childcare discount is offered, subject to availability.

Person Specification
- Previous experience of working in an early years setting is essential
- Level 3 in Early Years Childcare, or working towards one is desirable
- An understanding of the principles of child development and learning processes
- Ability to work constructively as part of a team, understanding roles and responsibilities and your own position within these
- Ability to communicate and maintain friendly relationships with children, parents/carers and staff
- Ability to work on your own initiative and cope with a busy Nursery setting
- Be suitable, both mentally and physically, to care for children
- Ability to work in a professional manner at all times
